**NEW THIS YEAR** Separate tracks for treatment providers and individuals/families.
In the spirit of continuing BEDA’s mission to build a community of those struggling and seeking mutual support, education, and encouragement, the 2011 conference will dedicate an entire track to individuals with BED, compulsive/emotional overeating, food addiction, and weight concerns. All, including spouses, family members, and friends are welcome.
The BEDA conference is appropriate for academics, clinicians, providers of health care and support services, health profession students, school and university counselors, advocates, and affected individuals and their family/friends.
More women and men struggle with binge eating disorder, compulsive overeating, emotional eating, food addiction and obesity concerns than with anorexia and bulimia combined. The need to share knowledge and build a community of support is critical to better understanding and supporting those who are struggling. DO NOT MISS this important and groundbreaking conference.
