2nd Annual National Eating Disorders Walk comes to Austin

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, nearly 10 million females and one million males in the U.S. are battling eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Millions more suffer from binge eating disorders.

Without treatment, up to 20 percent of them will die. The 2nd Annual National Eating Disorders Walk is happening later this month.

NEDA Walk coordinators Jessica Meltzer and Janessa Slatky spoke to KVUE about the event.

It will take place on Nov. 19 at Mueller Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
