Event Description: In this teleconference, we welcome Dena Cabrera, PsyD, clinical psychologist and nationally-known speaker. Dr. Cabrera brings a special focus to the issue of parents who are juggling the dual responsibilities of raising confident, healthy children while simultaneously going through their own journey of recovery from an eating disorder. We will learn from Dr. Cabrera's own research into the challenges and opportunities such a dual role brings, and delve into how parents in recovery can care well for themselves, their children, and their families.

Bio: Dr. Cabrera is a Clinical Psychologist and a member of Remuda Ranch’s National Speaker’s Bureau. She received her doctorate in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She has been with Remuda Ranch since 1999.
