NEDAwareness Week!

As proud supporters of the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA), Eating Disorder Hope is excited to partner with NEDA in promotion of their 25th Annual NEDAwareness Week, scheduled to take place from February 26th-March 3rd, 2012.

To help spread awareness of the theme for NEDAwareness Week this year, which is “Everybody Knows Somebody”, Eating Disorder Hope will be hosting exciting participatory events which we would like to extend to our website friends and visitors.

Are you currently a friend of Eating Disorder Hope on Facebook?  In the upcoming weeks, EDH will invite our friends/followers to leave a comment regarding how you plan to do “just one thing” in bringing attention/awareness to eating disorders.  All participants who leave a comment in response to this question will automatically be entered into a book drawing for Jennie Schaefer’s Goodbye Ed, Hello Me.  Be sure to become a follower of Eating Disorder Hope today to participate in this exciting give-a-way!

Additionally, Eating Disorder Hope is opening up an opportunity for friends/followers to submit your own personal story about how you may have been affected by eating disorders for possible publication on one of EDH’s blogs during NEDAwareness Week.  Please stay tuned for further information and details if you are interested in sending us your story!

Lastly, we invite you to stay connected to EDH in the upcoming weeks as we will be sharing articles in relation to NEDAwareness Week!  We encourage our readers to share these articles and join in discussion by leaving your comments.

With the awareness of eating disorders spreading exponentially, the chances that you or someone you love has been affected by an eating disorder are great.  Please consider joining the National Eating Disorders Association in the fight against eating disorders by becoming a registered participant for the upcoming NEDAwareness week.

Register today at www.NationalEatingDisorders.org and help raise awareness by doing just one thing!

Thank you for being a friend of Eating Disorder Hope.
