Remuda Ranch Co-Sponsors Advanced Treatment for Eating Disorders National Conference 2010 in Las Vegas

Phoenix (April 20, 2010) ­ Remuda Ranch Programs for Eating and Anxiety Disorders is co-sponsoring the Clinical Recipes for Success ­ Advanced Treatment for Eating Disorders national conference at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, NV, May 13 -16, 2010.

The conference is geared for professionals who treat clients with eating disorders in a clinical setting, as well as other professionals, including: dietitians, counselors and social workers who come in contact with peoplewho may be suffering from eating disorders. Attendees will be offered continuing education credits of 22.5.

Renowned speaker Dr. Ralph Carson, a partner with Remuda Ranch, will discuss Food & Mood: When Food and Eating is a Problem in Life. Dr. Carson's presentation will cover emotional eating and how it plagues dietary adherence, triggers binges and may lead to an addiction. It will feature a brain model of how mood and cravings are linked and provide solutions to alter this behavior.
